How were all of the water baptisms in the Bible performed, every single one of them?
Today we will speak about water baptisms ...
WHAT does the word "baptize" actually mean?
How IMPORTANT is it for each of us to also submit to "the baptism of John unto repentance?"
HOW did Jesus command HIS church to baptize with water, in the Great Commission?
When did Jesus say it?
HOW were all of the new believers in the bible actually baptized?
HOW can we help the fallen-church of today can't seem get either way of baptizing into water right.
HOW all of the new believers actually WERE baptized in the Bible.
HOW the fallen-church of today can't seem get either way right.

What is the water "baptism of John unto repentance?"
Context, Acts 18:24-28. Who was Apollos and how was he baptized?
And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:
For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
What did Apostle Paul do? [Acts 19:1-2 KJV]
And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, « note: yes they were Christian believers.
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. « note below:
It is true: We are NOT doing a very good job of making disciples of Jesus; all American Pastors and Teachers!
Lip service: Yes, maybe a few minutes per year of upside-own and backwards teachings about ... "ugh" ... the Holy Ghost.
Simple fact: You CANNOT teach what you have not learned ... duh.
THIS is where the American Church is TODAY:
... exactly where 99% of Modern-day "Christians" are
+ with the Entire New Testament/Holy Bible
+ and the Bile translated into English
+ and with 2,000 years of exegetes and apologists, creeds and "official" church doctrines,
+ with brick buildings
+ national and international organizations
+ executive and mid-levels of "superiors" helping local churches
+ and with Two Thousand YEARS of 'Christian teaching and theology.'
= we are NOT ONE STEP BEYOND this small town in Turkey, knowing only the baptism of John!
To this very day: 90% have received only one baptism of the three baptisms, and that "just barely."
Consider also: that well over 90% of those American who 'say they are Christians' ...
"have not so much as heard whether there be ANY Holy Ghost."
How were believers baptized in the bible? [Acts 19:3-5 KJV]
And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Okay, now the cat is out of the bag. On to the next topic ...
In the Great Commission how did Jesus command His Church to Baptize in water?
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." [Matthew 28:19-20 KVJ]
The Great Commission above must have been spoken by the Resurrected and Glorified Jesus Christ between the First Day and the Eighth Day of the resurrection.
No earlier than the first evening: On the first day of His resurrection, as soon as Jesus first appeared in the locked room in Galilee, all ten of the disciples present STILL did not believe that "God had raised him from the dead."
1. Mary told the disciples that Jesus was risen, but they Did NOT Believe; as it is written: "It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not." [Luke  24:9-11 KJV]
2. Even when Jesus appeared to them that evening in the locked room in Galilee, the ten disciples STILL did not believe that "God had raised him from the dead" as it is written: "And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them ... But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit." [Luke 24:36-37 KJV]
3. Even after the Resurrected and Glorified Jesus Christ Himself PROVED that He was risen, after Jesus had PROVEN that He was not "a spirit" (aka "an apparition" or "a ghost" of a dead man), they did NOT BELIEVE; as it is written: "And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?" [Luke 24:38-41 KJV]
4. After Jesus had PROVEN one time more that He was risen from the dead still they DID NOT BELIEVE; as it is written: "... he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them." Luke 41-43 KJV]
FACT: The ten disciples finally believed ONLY AFTER Jesus gave them His Grace to believe unto salvation.
» Jesus gave them HIS faith that they too were able to believe; as it is written: " ... Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand ..." [Luke 24:45 KJV]
» The disciples believed upon Jesus exactly the same way in which we are all saved; as it is written: "by Gace ye are saved through faith; and that not your own: it is a GIFT."

While we are disussing the Great Commission, when do we begin our commission?
First things first: We should notice that when Jesus gave us the Great Commission;
Jesus also commanded us to NOT go out preaching to the world immeidately; as it is written: "I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high." [Luke 24:49 KJV]
Question 1: What exactly is "the promise of my Father" that Jesus spoke of?
It is exactly the same promise which Jesus commanded the disciples to wait for; as it is written: "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." [Acts 2:39 KJV]
Question 2: And how did Jesus say we would receive the promise of the Father?
He said that it would come "upon you" ... not "within" but UPON you.
Jesus in fact pours out the Holy Ghost *UPON us* ... which is the exact inverse of *within us*
Question 3: after we have obediently ...
tarried for the promise of my Father and
received power from on high;
... what words did Jesus COMMAND us to SAY while we are baptizing with water unto repentance?
Answer 1. Jesus said: "in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Answer 2. Notice that "the NAME" above is specifically singular, not plural.
» Correctly translated Jesus did say: in the [ONE] Name ...
» NOTE: Jesus did not say: in the THREE NameS ...

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ — He has made it so very simple for us to follow Him, so very easy for us to become His Disciples.
All we must do is ...
(HEAR Jesus) + (BELIEVE Jesus) + (OBEY Jesus)
That's it, that is all we must do in order to become disciples ... so why is it so very difficult for us to follow Him?
HINT: it is because we ...
(do not HEAR Him) + (do not BELIEVE Jesus) = (therefore do not DO what He has TOLD US to do)
But the rock upon which Jesus built His Church the Apostle Peter
(DID hear) + (DID believe) + (did OBEY Jesus)
Regarding how Jesus in the Great Commission commands us to baptize ... Peter got it exactly right.
Peter did not recite dead words:
squiggly marks of black ink on a white piece of paper
... as did the Pharisees and the scribes.
"baptizing in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Rather Peter DID SPEAK the LIVING WORD of God:
Peter said to the whole world exactly what Jesus commanded us all to say.
... Peter OBEYED JESUS in the Great Commission.
"be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ ..." [ Acts 2:38 KJV]
Why do you read the bible ... but REFUSE to believe the bible?
Because the Modern-day Christian Church has FALLEN:
The church is relying upon the words of MEN,
... and those men do not seek the Truth, rather they rely upon their own Understanding.
... because they do not HEAR the word of God = therefore they cannot OBEY the bible, as it is written:
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world,
and NOT after Christ." [Colossians 2:8 KJV]
Why not simply recite the bible?
» Because if: you will (READ) + (BELIEVE) + (OBEY) ... the very next sentence in Colossians;
» Then you will: KNOW that Apostle Peter ...
+ all of the Church in the entire bible
= exactly OBEYED the Great Commission.
The very next verse in the bible ...
The verse which NO PREACHER today will dare to quote
Is ...
"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
[Colossians 2:9 KJV]
Who is "the Godhead" above, what does the word mean?
One Simple FACT: the man-made word "trinity" does not appear in the entire bible.
... You may refer to any *reliable translation* of the bible
... but do not rely upon any of the several hundreds of *INTERPRETATIONS of MEN* versions.
As the Holy Scriptures, the recorded word of God, CLEARLY and unequivically proves above:
"In the physical body of JESUS Christ resides
ALL OF the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost."

"The promise of the Father" was the baptism with FIRE and with the Holy Ghost ... as the same words were used in other Gospels including Acts etc.

========================================================
No later than the eighth 4th day: It was on the eighth day that ALL of the disciples believed.
Therefore we know that the Great Commission could not have been spoken later than the 8th day after His resurrection because Matthew wrote "they worshipped him: but some doubted." [Matthew 28:16 KJV]
We know that the Great Commission must have happened after the evening of the First Day of His resurrection ...

Then, after Jesus proved to them that He was resurrected, only then did they believe and not doubt:
NONE of the disciples believed that Jesus was raised by the dead, even though many of the women who went to the tomb told them that Jesus was raised; as it is written ...
"And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them." [Mark 16:11-13 KJV]

{28:16} Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
>>> this is during the first week after the Resurrection.

{28:17} And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
{28:18} And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
{28:19} Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
{28:20} Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

ACTS ...
JESUS said
{1:5} For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

{2:38}
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. {2:39}
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all
that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall
call. {2:40} And with many other words did he testify and
exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward
generation.
{2:41} Then they that gladly received his word were
baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them]
about three thousand souls.

{8:12} But when they believed Philip preaching the things
concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus
Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. {8:13}
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was
baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered,
beholding the miracles and signs which were done. {8:14}
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that
Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them
Peter and John: {8:15} Who, when they were come down,
prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

{8:16} (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only
they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
{8:17}
Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received the
Holy Ghost. {8:18} And when Simon saw that through
laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given,
he offered them money, {8:19} Saying, Give me also this
power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the
Holy Ghost. {8:20} But Peter said unto him, Thy money
perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of
God may be purchased with money.

{8:36} And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a
certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water;
what doth hinder me to be baptized? {8:37} And Philip
said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And
he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son
of God. {8:38} And he commanded the chariot to stand
still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip
and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
{8:39} And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Apostle PAUL baptized
{9:17} And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee
in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
{9:18} And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
{9:19} And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
{9:20} And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

>>> baptized PETER telling about baptisms of Gentiles - JOPPA ...
{11:13} And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
{11:14} Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
{11:15} And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
{11:16} Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
{11:17} Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as [he did] unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? {11:18} When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
{16:29} Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came
trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, {16:30}
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be
saved? {16:31} And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus

they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that

brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and
rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
