Look into Jessica's eyes and see Dick Rutgers' heart being touched.
At 5:29 into this video Jessica CRIES OUT to her Heavenly Father.
Immediately Jessica's Heavenly Father, our Lord and our God, touches Dick's heart.
Can you see the Finger of the Living God moving in this video? The Living God — the Creator of heaven and earth — ANSWERS the cries of His Children.
Jessica's Story ... as told by Jessica's eyes and Dick Rutgers' heart.

This Video is also available on YouTube, where it is titled: Jessica's story with Dick Rutger in Guatemala
This is Jessica's Story.
Jessica is one of six children, her mother is a widow.
Jessica has Cerebral Palsy.
Jessica was taken to Hope Haven Guatemala (Refugio de Esperanza de Guatemala), where Mark Richard's organization manufactures and distributes free wheelchairs to disabled people who otherwise must crawl all their lives. Ref: www.RefugioDeEsperanza.org.

Dick Rutgers was assisting with the Wheelchair Distribution at Hope Haven Guatemala when Jessica's mother was able to bring her.
At 5:29 into this video ... when Jessica is being held by Dick Rutgers ... she cries out to her heavenly Father.
What did our Lord Jesus Christ say?
He told us that God hears the cries of the fatherless and the widows:
"Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world ... For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in ... I was sick, and ye visited me ... Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." [Matthew 25: 34-40 KJV - abridged]
How do we know that we are the Children of God?
The disciple that Jesus loved, John, tells us how we know we are Christians, as it is written:
"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that ... keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." [1st John 2:3-4 KJV]
What does the Jesus' brother James say about our "religion?"
As it is written:
"A Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction." [James 1:27 KJV]
At the moment in this video when Jessica cries of to the Father ... if you have eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart that believes ... then you too can see The Lord touching Dick's heart ... and this is what happened.

Dick saw a young girl, only six years old and weighing only sixteen (16) pounds.
He had to do something, sometimes we simply cannot walk away.
Dick shared Jessica's Story with pictures on his website, ref: blog.dickrutgers.com/.
KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri produced a television special about Hope Haven Guatemala. The video portion of this production is excerpted from that TV special.
I was struck by the images and video. You will be too.
Jessica's Story is a bitter but sweet story ... sad and happy.
Jessica's eyes tell the story.
Look into Jessica's eyes, perhaps Our Father will touch your heart too.

A little background ...What happens to children born with disabilities in much of the world?
In Guatemala, as well as much of the undeveloped world,
the parents of disabled children cannot afford either wheelchairs or motorized vehicles,
hence the children must crawl in the dirt to attend school.

There are no paved roads.
During the rainy seasons (when school is in session),
the mothers must carry their children to school in their arms.

Often the mothers have other children, or must work to feed their family.
These severely disabled children receive no education,
the children are not able to find employment, even when they grow up.
As a result of their disabilities, these severely disabled children must spend their entire lives as shut-ins at the homes of their desperately indigent parents.

Because there is absolutely no hope for these children to have a future,
and because they present an enormous life-long burden on their parents,
usually the mothers of disabled newborn babies are URGED by their families to kill their children immediately after their birth ...
'Just kill it.
Kill it!
It's just going to ruin your life.'
