FACT: None of the 11 disciples EVER believed until the night of Jesus Resurrection, AFTER Jesus had to prove Himself to the ten disciples, and to Thomas one week later.
If your pastor or preacher, teacher or writer, if your favorite Author or 'christian apologist' or 'theologian' or exegete or bishop or ... if anybody ever calls Apostle Thomas "DOUBTING Thomas" ... please send them here ...
» And then have them contact us. We are as are you, we are "INCHRISTI" — Christ is in us all and all of us are in Christ.
FACT: ALL of the disciples did not believe that "believe in their heart that God hath raised him from the dead,"
>>> Until AFTER Jesus PROVED TO THEM that He was raised from the dead.
The ten required three proofs that Jesus is risen.
Thomas ONLY ONE proof.
We ask you to think! Which disciples DOUBTED THE LEAST in this story?
HINT: Ask your local ordained blasphemer, whether he or she, "ARE YOU ABLE TO COUNT to three."
Any person who doubts what Jesus Himself said is true ... that Thomas is "blessed" ... is the one who is the doubter.
That includes every pastor I have ever listened to in any church ... and on the radio ... for nearly fifty years now — and God has had enough.
FACT: ALL of the disciples did not believe. ALL, got that? Duh!
Yes, that includes all eleven of the disciples were exactly the same: Peter and John, James and Thomas — all of them!
The MORNING of the resurrection: none of the eleven disciples believed the testimony of Jesus Christ, that He was raised from the dead
Many women disciples returned from the empty tomb, bearing witness that Christ was not dead. Mary Magdalene even told them that Jesus was risen from the dead and they did not believe, as it is written:
Mark: "... he appeared first to Mary Magdalene ... she went and told them that had been with him ... when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, Believed NOT." » Mark 16:10-11
Luke: "It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not." » Luke 24:10-11.
John: "And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together ... Saying, the Lord is risen indeed ... as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them ... But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit." » John 24:33 - 37
The Resurrected Jesus made THREE proofs to the ten disciples that He was risen from the dead:
yet still they did not believe that God had raised Him from the dead:
Proof 1) When Jesus appeared to the ten disciples in the locked room, they thought that Jesus was actually a GHOST, not flesh and bone, as it is written:
"And as they [the two Jesus appeared to on the road to Emmaus] thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, 'Peace be unto you.' But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit." » Luke 24:36-37.
Proof 2) Jesus showed the ten His hands and feet:
" 'Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.' And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet." » Luke: 24:39-40
"Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, 'Peace be unto you.' And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. THEN were the disciples glad..." » John 20:19-20
Proof 3) Jesus ate meat, fish and a honeycomb:
"And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, 'Have ye here any meat?' And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them." » Luke 24:41-43
Still, ALL of the disciples did NOT BELIEVE in Jesus, that He was risen.
The EVENING of the resurrection:
The Resurrected and Glorified Jesus came to the ten.
Thomas was absent, likely Thomas had to go out gather their needs?
As it is written: "But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came." [John 20:24 KJV]
Jesus Christ, in His resurrected flesh and bone body, had appeared to the ten.
But even with Jesus standing right before them, the ten Did NOT BELIEVE that Jesus was raised from the dead.
Even after Jesus made three proofs to them that He was raised from the dead,
Still they did not believe.
One week after the EVENING of the resurrection:
Then one week later Jesus appeared to the disciples again, including Thomas.
When Jesus also had to show Thomas ONE PROOF, not three, that He was risen from the dead.
As it is written:
"And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, 'Peace be unto you.' Then saith he to Thomas, 'reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.' And Thomas answered and said unto him,
My Lord and my God." » John 20:26-28.
« Notice above that Thomas did NOT actually put his finger into the holes in Jesus' hands, feet or His side.
Rather that Thomas immediately, as soon as Jesus appeared to them, that Thomas both BELIEVED and CONFESSED that Jesus was not "only" his Lord . . . as do many of today's pastors and teachers who do not know God, who God is and that "the Lord our God, the Lord is ONE." . . . notice that Thomas called Jesus
"My Lord and my GOD."
Therefore if I am present at "your" service, it is important that you NOT say any blasphemous, apostate lie ... such as calling him "DOUBTING Thomas."
If you call the Ordained Apostle of Jesus Christ "Doubting Thomas"
» then you are not only putting down your superior !
» you are also calling the Resurrected and Glorified Jesus Christ a LIAR!
Note that Thomas' doubts were not as significant as were the other ten disciples:
Thomas believed after Jesus' gave Thomas only ONE PROOF that He was raised from the dead.
The other ten required THREE PROOFS before they finally believed.
Note that Jesus did NOT say unto Thomas "you are named DOUBTING Thomas"
rather Jesus DID SAY that Thomas was "Blessed."
Yes, Jesus called Thomas is BLESSED
... whereas many, certainly most, virtually ALL
... modern-day preachers speak blasphemy against the scriptures and against the Spirit of Truth, calling the Apostle Thomas "Doubting Thomas."
Who is telling the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the holy scriptures?
Is your pastor calling Thomas what Jesus called him: "BLESSED"
Or ... is your pastor saying that Jesus Christ A LIAR?
